Wedding Photography Lagos

Your wedding day happens once. Purple Crib Studios delivers wedding photography in Lagos that captures every moment with honesty, artistry, and attention to the details that make your day uniquely yours — from the quiet morning preparations to the last dance of the reception.

We cover traditional and white weddings, intimate ceremonies, and grand Lagos celebrations. Our photographers are experienced in the full spectrum of Nigerian wedding culture — the energy of Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa ceremonies, the grandeur of Lagos Island venues, and the intimacy of private garden receptions.

Our Wedding Photography Style

We blend documentary and portrait photography to tell the complete story of your day. Candid moments sit alongside beautifully lit formal portraits and detail shots of your décor, florals, outfits, and venue. The result is a collection of images that feels true to how the day actually felt.

What Is Covered

Traditional Wedding (Engagement Ceremony)

We document the full traditional ceremony from family introductions and list presentation through to the highlight moments of your Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, or Efik engagement. Traditional weddings are visually rich events — our photographers capture the colour, culture, and energy at every stage.

White Wedding (Church or Court)

From bridal prep and the first look through to the ceremony, reception, cake cutting, and first dance — we follow your wedding from start to finish. We work discreetly inside the church or venue and position second shooters to ensure complete coverage from every angle.

Reception Coverage

Receptions are where the celebration truly comes alive. We document the couple's entrance, speeches, dinner, dancing, and all the spontaneous moments in between — delivering images that your guests will recognise and treasure.

Pre-Wedding Shoot

A pre-wedding shoot gives couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. We plan a bespoke session around your personalities — Lagos locations, travel shoots, or studio settings — producing relaxed, authentic portraits used for Aso-ebi cards, digital invites, and wedding websites.

Our Process

We begin with a consultation to understand your timeline, venues, family dynamics, and shot priorities. On the day, our team is coordinated, punctual, and professional. Edited images are delivered within 3–4 weeks, with highlight images within 48 hours for social sharing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many photographers do you provide?

Standard packages include one lead photographer. Larger weddings and full two-day events benefit from a second shooter. We recommend two photographers for guest lists over 200.

How far in advance should we book for our wedding?

We recommend booking 3–6 months in advance for Lagos weddings, and up to 12 months for peak season dates (December and Easter). Popular dates fill quickly — contact us as soon as your date is confirmed.

Do you cover destination and out-of-Lagos weddings?

Yes. We have photographed weddings in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Benin, and internationally. Travel and accommodation costs are included transparently in your quote.

What is your delivery timeline?

Fully edited wedding galleries are delivered within 3–4 weeks. A curated selection of 20–30 highlight images is delivered within 48 hours so you can share your favourite moments immediately after the wedding.

Do you offer albums and prints?

Yes. We work with professional labs to produce premium wedding albums, canvas prints, and framed prints. These are quoted separately — ask us for the options at your consultation.
